Key Features
-
Easy to Use: Three controls — tuning knob, volume knob, and AM/FM/OFF switch. The tuning indicator turns green when a station is available, making it easy for seniors to operate.

-
Battery Indicator: The red battery indicator stays on while the radio is powered. When the batteries run low, it's time to replace them. Runs on 2 AA batteries (not included).
-
Earphone Jack: 3.5mm earphone jack for private listening. The speaker mutes automatically when earphones are plugged in.

-Like: Excellent AM/FM audio quality, wonderful base & mid-range on AM & FM. AM music & talk-radio sounds like FM, & not hissy/screechy like old small portable radios. Pleasantly surprised.
Dislikes:
-Uses Off/FM/AM switch on the side, not readily seen but felt. Need to firmly grip to push & go thru FM to get to AM =a bit awkward. Older radios use easier Volume/On/Off wheel requiring tiny effort.
-Radio is back-heavy & difficult to stand up, will tip over, & will not stand if antenna extended & away. Work-around is to lean it against something, put a couple business cards or papers under back edge of radio bottom, or lay down (though may affect reception).
