I like that thus radios is small and uses batteries. I was surprised how many stations that it does pick up. I wanted to have a radio to be prepared for the unchanging weather conditions. Good radio great price.

This is a great personal radio. brings me back the the 70,s. It is small and sounds very good. It sounds bigger than its size. I have bought another PRUNUS, J-401, and this is also a great radio.

Bought for my senior citizen mom who loves to walk. Light weight and small so she can keep in her pouch and good quality ear buds. She is very happy with it!

Nice size radio with good AM/FM tuners. Ear buds are a little old fashioned but solidly constructed. The only change I can recommend to the manufacturer is to combine the power LED with a tuner light. Maybe a white LED that shows red through the POW area on the dial face and illuminates the rest of the tuner dial face. I've been using the radio at night and can't see to tune in the dark. Otherwise, the Prunus has fulfilled my memories of the old portable transistor radios.

When my old little radio died I read review after review and was so disappointed to see most of these little guys are made in China (which usually translates into junky products). Being desperate to get a pocket radio before Michigan garden season, I chose this one because it came with the earplugs and had a dial tuner... my preference. I have been pleasantly surprised because: The sound is great It's light weight The size is pocket perfect AM/FM both tune in clearly The earphones are stereo Can't beat the priceSo don't be dissuaded by the silly brand name or its country of origin, this little radio is just right.

Nothing to dislike about this very cool and attractive pocket radio. Sound quality is very impressive for the size. Reception is excellent. Stands on its end. Very happy with the J-777. Sometimes I think about getting another one in case they discontinue it!
