This is such good quality! When I opened the box I was stunned to see how neat and beautiful this item is, really well made and looks way more expensive than it actually cost.

Ok so first of all, it's very small and cute. Secondly, the sound that comes from it is so loud and rich, I haven't even had the need to have it above 50% volume and suspect that if I ever put it at 100%, my neighbours might not like me too much anymore unless they happen to love BTS. And we all love BTS so actually, up to 100% it goes.
Great fucntuonality, FM Stereo is really good too but I primarily bought it for the bluetooth usage which so user friendly. Impressed with this teeny speaker, definitely purchase if you're thinking about it.

Quite a remarkable small and very charming radio; sound quality is very, very good with Base, Middle, and Top frequencies; all well matched for such a small speaker inside... and by the way, it has a genuine wood cabinet too; this certainly adds to the sound quality.
I did not think, this would be such a good buy; it was more out of curiosity taking on-board the reviews, and I am very well pleased and surprised with it's performance... early days yet but; out the box and within an hour after testing it, I am writing this review while listening to my MP3 music.
The FM Radio has tremendous sensitivity across the band, and I don't know how the design is doing that ? It has no external aerial/antenna. I am a retired electronics engineer, and know what is possible to receive FM signals; even more remarkable because where I live is behind a hill, where local BBC reception is mostly none existent however, the PRUNUS Radio pulls-in almost noise free reception ! It's almost like magic to me, and I know what goes into designing a very sensitive FM radio.
I normally listen to the French transmissions, being far better signal than the local BBC stations... receiving the French direct from the bay of St. Malo and Rennes, further inland. For most of the year reception in Jersey from France, is good to far; even my very sensitive Sangean 909X Multi-Band Receiver can at times, depending on weather and propagation conditions, receive noisy reception; but this PRUNUS Radio, it just out performs my Sangean; with it's telescopic aerial, where the PRUNUS has none visible, all internal to the radio some-where ?
Regarding the sound quality; technically it will be using a Bridged Amplifier design and specially designed speaker, within a ported boxed system to produce this full body sound. It's intuitively all seems totally wrong, and at odds with what I am used too hearing from a small radio, producing such a big sound quality.
When selecting the rotary switch, you get a recorded announcement in a German sounding tongue, but in English... I was again surprised to find this feature on the radio. Also, I have tested out the Blue-tooth; but this seems not to connect very often, and when it does it produces two or more beeps from the radio, but I am unable to get sound to the radio from my computer ? It could be me, and my computer, I just don't know. Normally, I don't bother with Blue-tooth devices anyway, because all my audio systems are wired via a selector switch, to my main amplifier.
The internal rechargeable battery is via a USB cable, and supplied with the radio. You can buy a charger, but need to E-Mail: wawan-ca@outlook.com they state this in the short instructions; only because they recommend a charging current of 1 Amp at 5 Volts... this is not normally available from a standard computer USB port, that's normally rated at 500mA.
The USB combined cable has an audio 3.5 stereo plug as well; so you can play external devices into the AUX switch position, using the radio as an amplifier... it will also play MP3 music files, with a limited function. e.g. Slide in your TF-Card and it plays what's on it; it's basic with forward and back through the files, and stop start; no file searching other than moving forward or back.
To sum-up; very impressive Radio, and would highly recommend it. For me, I did-not expect too much, and was totally surprised and delighted with it's great sound and FM reception sensitivity; a wonder of modern technology, fully implemented and applied to this little radio... I have the urge to buy another one, just so good and outstanding.

I’ve just got this out of the box. First impression how cute. Then I turned it on and what a fantastic sound. The tuning is absolutely spot on. The clarity is amazing and the cost, ridiculous. If I could give this 10 stars I would. The best little surprise I’ve bought on Amazon ever.

This is one of the most beautiful and well made radios I have seen in a long time . The old style exterior Satisfies my nostalgic side. The disproportionately loud, free from distortion sound satisfies my keen ear. The modern features such as Bluetooth and SD card slot satisfy the technical side.
