I was a little sceptical given the price, but it's absolutely fine for what I bought it for. Safe near the front door now in case of a power cut - love I can charge a phone off it. The torch is good and the SOS alarm is super loud!

Very versatile basic radio. Bought to have an FM radio that would work in an emergency. Receives Radio 4 very clearly and the tuning LED is helpful in locating stations. Feels well put together for the price.

Use it down my alottment. Not a bad sound and good reception. Being bright yellow it's easy to spot. Charge lasts a long time.

I just love this radio and it's features, ive been in and out of hospital, so having this has been so useful, very good led lights, nice and clear audio on the radio, the ability to recharge by winding it up, the quality is very good and it's great value for price. I would recommend it, great for when at home too if there is a power cut.

Great little radio. The battery lasts well. I used it whilst on a hiking trip, couldn't find a flaw with it. However I thought it could do with a belt clip for on the move. Nonetheless it is light enough to just carry.

Bought when my three phone didn't receive so called warning. A child of the cold war - hear three minute siren. Get under desk, cover head - then I found home classroom the science lab had gas pipes for Bunsen burners underneath. Save my head from falling bricks and get gassed. We listened for take off / returns of V-shaped jets to and from AVRO Woodford flying immediately overhead.
Yes I want the warning they still dare not stipulate. do u know what a three minute warning was. If you don't - look up Guy Martin learning about V jets. The planes that lasted enough to bomb in the Falkland but only normal bombs.
The radio sound is good even with the aerial down. The radio wind up works but I charge it from the mains up to now. From a full charge the radio lasts quite a while. I did not buy it for music but for the price is is not bad.
Remember if our electric stops working our phones won't charge. Everyone needs a wind up radio.

Fantastic little radio, seems to do exactly what it claims too. The sound quality and volume is bob on so not sure what other reviews are on about? Not tried the solar power function yet so can't comment on that, but the wind up and other options to charge all seem to be good, but for the price and the quality of it, I don't think I would care if they didn't work, I'm really happy with it. I only wish they did a Bluetooth version that was just as good as this.
